Teething

Liya is teething. It has not been fun as we can tell that her gums really seem to hurt at times. But she has been enjoying a new “food”: little maple teething biscuits! She loves them and does it all on her own too. It seems that the teething also was the signal for her to eat a lot more solid food than before, she pretty much gets breakfast (rice cereal mixed with apple or pear puree - pear being her favorite) and dinner (rice cereal mixed with carrots or peas - very much favoring the carrots though) nowadays.

Midsummer night’s dream

Liam’s class has worked for a solid 2 and a half month on getting this famous Shakespeare play up and performed.
They all did an amazing job! The costumes were fantabulous as well as decor. I was very impressed as everyone there was.

Liam played Oberon, King of the Faeries.

Here’s a bit of the play: (you can hear Liya in the background giving a little “squeeky” sound when she recognized Liam. She was very fascinated and watched the whole play very quietly).

Feet obsession

Liya has found her feet and has woken up twice in the middle of the night this week to make sure that they were still there and she could still grab them. Useless to say Mom and Dad were not too pleased with this newfound night time activity.
